Web design

Websites built around how buyers actually decide.

Most small-business sites lose people before the design ever gets credit: the offer is vague, the proof is buried, and contacting you takes too many taps on a phone. We fix those three things first — then make the site look like a business worth hiring.

Who this is for

Built for businesses that get found locally.

We design for companies whose customers live within driving distance — where the website's job is to turn local interest into a phone call, a form, or a booked appointment.

  • Retail & local consumer businesses

Customers compare you to three other tabs before they ever call. Your site has to answer price questions, hours, and what you actually sell — fast.

  • Construction & trades

Buyers want proof you finish what you start: real project photos, the towns you work in, and a quote path that doesn't require a desktop computer.

  • Veterinary & animal care practices

Pet owners are often reading on a phone, one-handed, slightly worried. Service clarity and a tap-to-call number matter more than animation.

  • Professional services

You're selling judgment. The site needs to explain the offer in concrete terms and make booking a conversation the obvious next step.

The honest diagnosis

If any of this sounds familiar.

None of it means your business is bad at what it does. It usually means the website was built as a brochure, not as a sales path.

  • Visitors can't tell what you do — or who it's for — within the first screen.
  • The best proof you have is buried four clicks deep, or not on the site at all.
  • The contact form is long, the phone number is hidden, and neither works well on a phone.
  • The site was built years ago and every change now requires the person who built it.
  • It looks like every competitor's site because it started from the same template.
  • You get traffic, but the inquiries that arrive are vague or unqualified.
What the work includes

Deliverables, in plain terms.

Scope is agreed in writing before we start. This is the shape of a typical build — your project may not need every piece, and we'll say so.

Structure

  • Sitemap and page plan built around how buyers decide, not how your org chart looks
  • Messaging hierarchy — what gets said first, and where proof lives
  • Clear service and location pages instead of one vague 'Services' page

Design

  • Mobile-first layouts designed at phone widths first, desktop second
  • Typography and spacing that make a 300-word page readable rather than dense
  • Real photography and project imagery placed where it earns trust

Build

  • Fast-loading pages with optimized images and minimal scripts
  • Accessible color contrast, keyboard navigation, and visible focus states
  • Forms connected to a real follow-up path — not an inbox black hole

After launch

  • Your choice after launch: edit the site yourself, or send changes to us
  • Search console and analytics verified so you can see what's working
  • Ongoing support if you want it — no obligation if you don't
How it works

Five steps, no mystery.

You'll always know what's happening, what we need from you, and what's next.

  1. Step 1

    Discovery call

A 30-minute conversation about your business, your customers, and what the current site is costing you. No pitch deck — just questions and notes.

  2. Step 2

    Content and structure first

Before any visuals, we agree on the sitemap, the offer on each page, and what proof belongs where. This is where most websites actually succeed or fail.

  3. Step 3

    Design

Page designs built mobile-first with your real content — not lorem ipsum placeholders you'll have to imagine around.

  4. Step 4

    Build and connect

The site gets built, forms get connected to your follow-up system, and every button gets tested on real devices.

  5. Step 5

    Launch and handoff

We launch, verify search indexing, walk you through the site and how updates work, and stay available for what comes next.

Common questions

Straight answers.

How long does a website project take?

It depends on scope, and we confirm the timeline in writing before work starts. The website estimate gives you a week range for your exact scope. Content decisions slow projects more than design or code, so we front-load that work.

Do you write the words on the page, or do I?

Both, usually. You know your business and customers better than anyone; we know what needs to be said and in what order for a visitor to act on it. In practice we draft the structure and key messaging together, and you review it in plain language before anything is designed.

What platform do you build on?

Most new sites are custom AI-built sites in the Savvy Sales System, so forms, booking and follow-up work from day one. We also build drag-and-drop sites you can edit yourself, and WordPress sites when you need a large content library. We'll recommend one and explain why before you commit.

How much does a website cost?

It depends on pages, features, design level and who writes the content. A five-page drag-and-drop site starts at $1,500 and a custom AI-built site at $2,500. The website estimate on this site gives you a price range for your exact scope in about two minutes.

What do you need from me to start?

A conversation, access to whatever exists today (site, photos, logo, brand colors), and one person on your side who can make content decisions. That's genuinely it — we handle the rest.
